       Semantics is the study of meaning in language. The term is taken from the Greek seme, meaning sign. The word meaning can be defined in many ways, but the definition most pertinent to linguistics and the one we will use is that meaning is "the function of signs in language." This understanding of meaning corresponds to German philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein's definition: 'the meaning of a word is its use in the language' (in other words, the role a word plays in the language).

                               Never       

  you who are like dew

beautifully soft as fog shining like a star

The one that  always glows in my heart

You once Made me something

Spill hapinness all over the paper

sprinkle me with hope

but now I have to put your shadow aside

despite the rebbel inside

my soul cries

through whisper, through the sob singing 

out part of the soul

Whom searches between dust and memories

through hobble

Through moan

Still i walk the pavement

Associative

Associative meaning , Associative meaning is the meaning that owned by lexeme or word related to that word relation with  something outside of language . For example, word  ‘jasmine’ it is associated with something holy or purity,  word ‘red’ is associated with brave and word ‘crocodile’  associated with bad and evil/crime. This associative  meaning actually is same with sign/symbolism that usedby a society of language user to explain other concept  

which have a resemblance with condition or

characteristic from that origin word.  So, the word ‘jasmine’ that has a conceptual  meaning ‘a kind of small, white and fragrance flower’ is used to describe the symbol of holy/purity. The word of  ‘red’ has conceptual meaning ‘a kind of bright color’ is  used to explain the symbol of braveness and the word  ‘crocodile’ that is conceptual meaning ‘a kind of wild  reptile which eat some animals include carcass” used to  symbolize of bad, evil and crime.  . 

Idiomatic

Idiomatic meaning  Idiom is one of statement unity which the  meaning can not be interpreted partially from it elements,  either lexically or grammatically or idiomatic is whose meaning can't predicted from lexical meaning that does not surparise or gramatical meaning of unit . For example,  grammatically the form of “selling the house” meant ‘who is selling they get the money’ and the buyer is  receiving the house, but in Indonesian language the form  

of ‘selling the tooth’ has not meaning like that,

rather meant ‘laughing loudly’. So, meaning like form ‘selling  the tooth’ it is called as idiomatical meaning. Other  example for idiom is ‘slamming the bone’ (membanting  tulang) its meant ‘working hardly’, green table by  

meaning ‘courthouse’.

            Ambiguity in Semantics

Language has always had its ambiguous tendencies and probably always will. Certain expressions that speakers of a language use can be found very confusing in some cases. Some of the elements which cause misunderstanding and ambiguity are lexical aspects of a word, syntactic structure of a group of words and lack of sufficient contextual information. Innocent looking sentences can be monsters when it comes to actually interpreting them; some may have an array of different interpretations. However, native speakers of a language can usually pick up on the correct interpretation immediately. Being equipped with contextual information is one of the ways of interpreting a sentence or phrase. For example, the sentence ,Anne was picking Cloe's hair off the couch all morning, the context in which the sentence is found would be most helpful. Without it the sentence does not make much sense. Now if we knew that Cloe is a Persian cat with long white hair and the couch was made of a course black material, the sentence makes much more sense. One may even create a mental picture that could further the understanding of the sentence: a big, fluffy black couch was covered in long, white cat hair, and it took Anne all morning to pick it off
